The mention of flavored Vodka at BevX is typically greeting with a chorus of yawns (on a good day). Let’s face it; most flavored Vodkas are boring, insipid, and made so greedy brands can gobble up more precious shelf space. However, for every rule there is the exception and this exception is delicious!
We absolutely love the Finlandia Grapefruit Fusion. It’s clearly one of our favorite flavored Vodkas. Why? Well, it tastes great and pure being unmistakably grapefruit and in a good way. Further, it’s made by a “real” brand and distillery that has been crafting fine Vodka for decades, and last but not least, it’s under $20 a bottle!
Finlandia has been sold in the US for more than 35 years. It’s one of the first import Vodka brands. Finlandia is made from homegrown six-row barley and glacial spring water. The conditions that are represented in nearly every Vodka ad, and bottled water as well, truly exist at Finlandia.
Their Grapefruit Fusion is an amazing gift for bartenders and home mixologists alike as it offers incredibly pure flavors and great versatility pairing well with nearly every fruit juice. It’s also so good that it can be simply enjoyed with just a glass and ice.
